My favourite question that lloyd side stepped was whether prostitution was illegal in Croatia

Then he goes on Andrew Gold's podcast in an attempt to extricate himself out of the Thailand sex trafficking quandary and says that he had only been "dating" one there. In the process he admits to seeing prostitutes in Croatia "and other countries", just not Thailand. Never. They were dating.

It's like the Crisis of Conscience debacle. He denies something that is undeniably true and confesses to what he considers as a lesser crime. He's an absolute dunce because the lesser crime also happens to be a pretty shitty thing to do, and he comes across as a liar anyways in denying the first allegation with the ridiculous assertion he was "dating".

If he were intent on perpetuating the lie (which he was/is), he would have been sharp enough to shift his narrative to Amsterdam where sex work is highly regulated. It seems he was playing on people's ignorance in thinking Croatia was not also a highly sex trafficked nation.

Where I will be overly critical is on those cringy-as-hell lyrics matched with chords you put together when you're 12.

It was something I’d expect at a Kingdom Hall cookout or in granny’s backyard. The people there who don’t know any better applaud and think he’s got skillz.

I agree that it’s simplistic and rudimentary. Good enough to earn an “attaboy, you’re doing great kid.” But so simple I can imagine it was originally written to Kingdom lyrics.

What? That makes no sense... How about: Maybe if they take thinks too far...

He sang something after “we’ll just get inside our…” but I couldn’t make it out and the clip ended right after.

Might as well give lyric interpretation a go since I’m here…

The part “drive down to Paris” seems to indicate he was in a northerly position in relation to that particular city…. As in he was in the UK when he wrote this. In Croatia it would be “drive up to Paris”.

Since he said he hadn’t picked up a guitar in ages and this was an original song, this is probably one he wrote on his UK JW days. Might have written it for one of his sexting partners who payed the piano.

The lyrical content indicates a bond between him and the piano player and a desire to run off together. Kind of a lost love or unrequited love type of theme.

is he he divorced or separated now?

When he got caught trying to sneak onto a London speed dating site and poach attendees, he angrily confessed that they have been separated since he moved out in late March of last year. He lives in Zagreb and she still lives in SIsak. He used language to indicate it was a trial separation to gauge how/if both of them could live as single people.

As usual, no peep out of her and the only account of this is right out of Boss Hogg's mouth. So take that information with caution.

he’s doing it to have a better single life more like it. All of the things he’s doing sounds like they’re just ways to make himself look more valuable to women.

I was thinking the same thing. As someone who can play guitar, it’s bad practice to rehearse after years of inactivity for a public gig exactly one day before. It’s all about the show and the fact that he’s brave enough to go up there with a guitar and play. He’ll probably make about a dozen disclaimers beforehand that he hasn’t played in years so as to diminish expectations. If he were serious about getting back into playing he would have started practicing months ago.

Interesting. He said he hasn’t picked up a guitar in ages, his open mic night had a no covers rule, so these would have to be Lloyd Evans originals from 6…7…..10 years ago?

I hope he posts a video of his gig on the Random Cedars channel or something. I bet he recycled the We Are The Slave and the Good Things/Bad Things songs and retooled them with new lyrics.

I totally want him to sing about defamation, being betrayed by a friend or how the world does not understand him.

Though I do doubt he’ll post the video because he knows he’ll be mocked and people will make GIFs out of it.
